Classes

HypnoBirthing® Class Info:

Classes are taught in a series of 5 classes, with each class lasting 2  1/2-hours. If you are very near to your birthing time, occasionally your Practitioner can make special arrangements for individual classes with you.

Classes are always forming. See the HOME page for upcoming class dates/times.

Fee:

The fee for a group class is $250.

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required when you register, with the balance due at the first class. Your deposit holds the space for you and your birth companion(s) as well as pays for your class materials. You will receive the HypnoBirthing® textbook, Rainbow relaxation practice CD, and class folder with handouts.

• Hypnotic relaxation and visualization
• Selecting the right care provider

• Preparing your body for birthing with massage and toning

 Unit 3: Getting Ready to Welcome your Baby
• Preparing Birth Preference Sheets
• Preparing the Body for Birthing
• Light Touch Labor Massage
• Your body working for and with you
• Avoiding artificial induction and achieving a natural start to labor
• Releasing negative emotions, fears and limiting thoughts.

 Unit 4: An overview of Birthing – A Labor of Love
• Onset of Labor – Thinning and Opening Phase

• Settling in at the hospital or birthing center
• Preparing for home birth – or baby’s choice of birth
• As labor moves along – passing time through labor

 Unit 5: Birth – Breathing Love – Bringing Life
